Inaugural Season for VfB Women

In a landmark moment for the club, VfB Stuttgart's first-ever women's football team has begun its preparations for the upcoming 2022/23 season. The team, known as VfB Women I, is a testament to the club's growing commitment to promoting women's football.

Expansion of Women's Football at VfB

The formation of VfB Women I is part of a broader initiative by the club to expand its women's football program. In addition to the first team, VfB Stuttgart also fields a reserve team (VfB Women II) and an U17 team. The club's goal is to provide a pathway for young female players to develop their skills and reach their full potential.

First Training Session

The VfB Women I team held its first training session in May 2021, marking a historic moment for the club.
