Embattled 76ers face off against Celtics in must-win game
Sixers look to end losing streak, stay in playoff contention
Boston favored by 3 points at home
The Philadelphia 76ers will look to end their three-game losing streak when they take on the Boston Celtics on Saturday night. The Celtics are favored by 3 points at home, according to Caesars Sportsbook.
The 76ers are coming off a disappointing 110-103 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night. James Harden led the way for the Sixers with 24 points, but Joel Embiid was held to just 19 points on 6-of-18 shooting.
The Celtics, meanwhile, are on a three-game winning streak. They most recently defeated the Brooklyn Nets 139-96 on Thursday night. Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 31 points, while Jaylen Brown added 26 points.
The 76ers and Celtics are currently tied for third place in the Eastern Conference standings, with a record of 23-16. A win for either team would be a big boost in their quest to secure a home-court advantage in the playoffs.
